Perhaps one of Carole’s most crowning achievements has been the founding and production of Great Tastes In Brentwood. Founded in 1987 -- which ran successfully for 20 years -- this community event was held in the Fall, and attracted thousands from around Southern California to sample the “best of Los Angeles restaurants”. Sponsored by Coldwell-Banker, Great Tastes in Brentwood has raised more than $500,000 since its inception for local public schools and the Donald K. Kaufman branch of the Los Angeles Public Library, located in Brentwood.

Besides Carole’s dedication and involvement in the very successful Great Tastes, she is an active community leader. She is a Director of the Greater West Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce. She also supports the Los Angeles County Museum of Art by being an active member of the Modern and Contemporary Art Council as well as the Custom Council, and the Museum of Contemporary Art. Carole is also a member of the Glass Alliance of Los Angeles. She is also a member of the Skirball Museum.

A resident of Bel Air Crest since 1992, she is the Liaison for Bel Air Crest to the Mission Canyon Coalition and serves as the Secretary on the Bel Air Crest Master Association Board of Directors, and she serves as chairman of the Landscaping committee and is the co-editor of the Bel Air Crest newsletter – “The Crestline”.
