How to Negotiate Your Best Deal
(Whether
you are the Buyer or the Seller)
First of all be realistic. Know the value of what you are
buying or selling. Get the comparables.
If you are selling, know the strengths and weakness of
your property.
Know your motivation. Set your goals, and follow your
course.
Don’t let emotions get in the way.
Be reasonable. Remember there is a lot of gray in life,
nothing is black & white.
Negotiation, more than anything is give and take. Every
one wants to win, so try to reach a compromise that makes that
possible.
My buzzwords are, "Life is a negotiation."
Have a good, strong agent who understands how to negotiate
to represent you.
